Senior Track Design Engineer (Rail/Transit Projects) - 6 Years of Experience

AECOM is seeking a Senior Track Engineer to join either our Los Angeles Office or San Diego Office.

JOB SUMMARY:

This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with mega capital infrastructure transit/rail projects for our key clients in California such as LA Metro, SCRRA, CHSRA, BNSF and UPRR. Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate technical experience in track design. The objective of the position is to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and provide light rail (LRT), heavy rail (HRT), commuter, freight, streetcar/trolley, and Automated People Mover (APM) design for clients. In addition, it is expected that the successful candidate in this position closely collaborates with civil/roadway, structural, and architectural design teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as a Senior Track Design Engineer in projects of various scale
• Supports track & civil discipline leads in major infrastructure projects
• Performs quantity take-offs for all track corridor components (track and civil)
• Participates in technical specifications writing
• Collaborates with other design disciplines
• Provides support to PM and DPM
