Associate Director - Traffic and Transport Engineer

AECOM Melbourne’s Transport Planning and Advisory team are a trusted advisor to Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian State Governments, major Local Governments, major delivery authorities Level Crossing Removal Project and Major Road Projects Victoria, and public transport service operators, and we are currently looking for an experienced Transport and Traffic Engineer to join our team.

How you’ll make a difference

• Lead and manage complex transport engineering projects, including feasibility studies, options assessments, and Transport Impact Assessments (TIAs), ensuring delivery aligns with program, budget, and quality expectations.
• Provide technical leadership on traffic engineering and design tasks, and lead the preparation of TIAs as part of broader approval processes.
• Support business development by leveraging your network, building new client relationships, and collaborating across AECOM’s multi-disciplinary teams.
• Manage and mentor junior team members, contributing to their technical and professional development.
