The Senior Freight Rail Project Manager - Civil/Track Design is a key position that will be based in Omaha, Nebraska and will report into the US West Region Rail Group. This person will have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of exciting freight rail design projects with the AECOM rail group with a focus on supporting and growing our Class I, short line and industrial clients. The AECOM office provides upward mobility, opportunities for growth and leadership.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Serve as an AECOM senior project manager on rail projects from planning, preliminary engineering, and final design.</li><li>Accountable for developing project scope, budget and schedule and lead client contract negotiations.</li><li>Coordinate, cooperate, and work collaboratively with others team members as well as support business development.</li><li>Provide leadership and mentorship to subordinate managers and technical engineering staff.</li><li>Performance at this level requires experience in a professional position and demonstrated experience with the types of tasks that will be required.</li></ul>
