This specifically includes feasibility, Production Capacity Planning, Construction, and supporting logistical planning. They will support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.</p><p><strong>You Will:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop manufacturing processes and layouts for efficient product flow</li><li>Develop specifications for custom equipment, i.e., RFQ and SOWs</li><li>Closely collaborate with external equipment integrators on custom automation equipment design</li><li>Validate and characterize new equipment and fixtures for production implementation</li><li>Create detailed manufacturing instructions to document new processes</li><li>Design manufacturing equipment accessories</li><li>Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future requirements</li><li>Manage internal Lucid Customers, assess needs regarding priorities, deadlines, and quantities, and drive suppliers for on-time deliverables</li><li>Support stamping press automation and controls integration, including PLC/HMI troubleshooting and robotics coordination</li><li>Collaborate on MES integration for production data and ensure alignment with SAP for material and process flow</li><li>Travel 25-50% to visit suppliers (US and International)</li></ul><p><strong>You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li><ul><li>BS/MS Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree</li><li>5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience or 3+ years with a Master’s Degree</li><li>Hands-on experience with industrial controls systems (Siemens TIA Portal, PLC programming, safety circuits, and robotics integration)</li><li>Familiarity with MES systems and SAP for production tracking and material management</li><li>Experience in Program Management / Engineering in a high-volume manufacturing environment</li><li>Tandem, progressive, blanking, and transfer stamping</li><li>Extensive aluminum Class A, BIW, and Closures experience with a focus on stamping manufacturing</li><li>Working knowledge of current manufacturing techniques in a stamping manufacturing environment: equipment, tooling, metal stamping, assembly, and testing</li><li>Strong mechanical, electrical, time management, and analysis skills</li><li>Must be capable of working with peers, subordinates, supervisors, and management on a multidisciplinary team</li><li>Ability to remain current with state-of-the-art technologies and practices related to the metal stamping process as well as developing innovative solutions when necessary</li><li>Proficient with MS Office—Excel, Project, Word, Power-point</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software — AutoCAD, CATIA a plus</li></ul></li></ul><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
