THE ROLE

As our Lead Innovation Engineer - Electrical at Skytree, you will be the (tech) Lead for a samll team of Electrical Design Engineers, that develops new and improved electrical (sub)systems for the Skytree CO2 capture machines. The focus will be on power electronics, high power (LVL, controls and new product development.

You will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams, conduct analysis, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations to deliver innovative CO2 capture machines. You will lead your team by example, from a technical perspective,

Your experience will help create reliable and efficient electrical systems that meet the requirements of our customers and contribute to the overall success of Skytree’s CO2 capture machines.

YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

• Leading the Electrical Design Engineering team, ensuring timely delivery of projects and work packages, and significantly contributing to achieving product milestones.

• Creating detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation;

• Conducting thorough analysis and calculations to ensure optimal electrical design and efficiency

• Selecting and evaluating electrical components and subsystems to meet product requirements

• Working on debugging and launching new prototypes of SkyTree CO2 capture machines

• Performing electrical simulations and modeling for system validation and optimization

• Preparing necessary documentation, reports, and test plans for certification purposes

• Executing root cause analysis on prototype models, helping out with improvements on the design 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline;

• Demonstrated team leadership skills;

• 10+ years proven experience in electrical design;

• Experience with (new) product development and innovative solutions

• Experience with power electronics, LV and high power electrical design;

• Experience with controls and automation;  

• Expert level, up-to-date experience with EPLAN software including 3D.

• Ability to plan, strategize and find your way in flexible and high-paced environments; 

• Professional proficiency in English;

• Living in Poland, willing and able to work at our upcoming office in the Katowice area.
