CDL A 5th Wheel Truck Driver Local

We are searching for the right person to join our dedicated and professional 5th wheel driving team. Things that will make you stand out, tanker endorsement, having your TWIC card able to get into Canada and able to work nights. We are currently seeking drivers who are ready to provide the outstanding customer service we have worked to be known for while maintaining high safety standards and DOT compliance. Self-motivated and flexible problem-solvers will excel in this position. While we prefer experience with roll off trailers, we are willing to train the right person.  This is a physically strenuous position, and drivers are required to be able to mount and dismount trucks many times each day, climb trailer ladders, lift 50 - 75 pounds and engage in pushing, pulling and bending throughout the day.  Pay rate is $29 per hour, plus a $2 hourly bonus, for Safety/Compliance Bonus. Minimum Driver Qualifications: 

Because of Lautenbach Recycling's commitment to safety, the company has developed the following requirements for applicants:

• 1 or fewer chargeable or preventable motor vehicle accidents within the past 3 years
• 2 or fewer violations of motor vehicle laws (other than violations involving parking only) within the past 3 years 
• Applicants convicted of an offense involving the operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol can be considered only if they have had no similar incidents within the past 5 years.
• Zero careless or reckless driving of a motor vehicle offense within the past 3 years. 
• Zero criminal offenses involving a commercial vehicle, including operating while under the influence of a controlled substance, transporting a controlled substance, or a felony involving the use of a commercial motor vehicle

The Location:

We are located in Mount Vernon just north of Highway 20 in the beautiful Skagit valley.  The site is a fully operational Construction & Demolition recycling center which has frequent traffic, dust and noise. Runs will generally begin and end at this facility with dispatches within the I-5 corridor.
