Senior Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform and review construction/civil design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience
• Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project area.
• Responsible for quality control of all deliverables within the scope of civil engineering
• Technical review and signing off on technical documentation provided by vendors and other stakeholders related to civil engineering deliverables
• Coordinating BOP (Balance of Plant) contractors to deliver civil designs on time
• Providing site support on technical queries
• Travel throughout EMEA

Skill requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in civil engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with civil design of power systems for utility installations, PV plants, Battery Storage Systems, substations, in the EMEA region
• Expert in civil and structural design including but not limited to foundation, drainage, equipment anchoring, steel structure, etc.
• Expert in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for substations, operation buildings, wind, solar, or conventional power generation
• Expert for applicable codes, standards and regulations in the EMEA Region
• Solution-orientated mindset
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in English
• German / other language skills beneficial
