Lead Frontend Engineer

What you’ll do

• Lead the architecture and implementation of key web and mobile features.
• Bring a strong product lens — you’ll work closely with design and product to make smart trade-offs and ship high-impact experiences fast.
• Use AI tools (like Copilot or Cursor) to move quickly without compromising on readability or quality.
• Set the standard for how we build: thoughtful code, great performance, clean design, and systems that scale.
• Help evolve our design system and frontend patterns — Tailwind and Storybook are part of the picture.
• Support and guide other engineers, reviewing code and sharing context freely.
• Stay hands-on. You’ll be close to the work, helping shape it.
• Keep frontend experiences fast and reliable, including when things go sideways. We support our systems end-to-end.

You’ll be great if you

• Are experienced with React and have strong opinions on frontend architecture and design systems.
• Think like a product engineer: you care about the customer experience, not just clean code, and you have the experience to back this.
• Know how to use AI tools well — not just as shortcuts, but to lift team output and focus on the harder stuff.
• Have a track record of shipping software in cross-functional teams.
• Are comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where adaptability beats perfection.
• Understand how to build for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in React Native, scaled design systems, worked with native mobile products, or mentored other engineers.
• A degree in software engineering or equivalent is a bonus, but is not a must-have.
