Job Summary:
As a Senior Manager of IT PMO, you will be responsible for managing Transformation Programs Portfolio. This is a strategic leadership role that will drive System and Business process maturity across all business systems to meet company’s yearly goals. You will drive cross functional collaboration and coordination to eliminate ambiguity, foster teamwork and deliver exceptional solutions to enable all business units to meet and exceed set goals with 10+ years of experience leading enterprise financial systems implementations, digital transformations, and cross-functional project teams. Proven ability to align IT solutions with business goals, optimize financial processes, and deliver programs on time and within budget. Skilled in ERP systems (SAP), cloud migration, and regulatory compliance.
You Will:
- Take ownership of managing the overall project and program portfolio, ensuring each initiative aligns with strategic business objectives and delivers expected outcomes.
- Oversee and actively manage all ongoing and active programs, ensuring they are progressing according to defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional coordination across various teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure seamless program execution and resource alignment.
- Drive end-to-end program planning, from initial conception and scoping through execution, monitoring, and final delivery, ensuring structured and disciplined approaches throughout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalation management, promptly identifying and resolving issues and risks that could impact timelines or deliverables.
- Facilitate effective stakeholder communication by providing consistent updates, managing expectations, and fostering transparency across all levels of the organization.
- Oversee the development, consolidation, and management of program reporting, delivering insightful updates to leadership and stakeholders on status, risks, and milestones.
- Take full responsibility for generating and maintaining accurate weekly status reports, synthesizing progress, key decisions, and next steps.
- Collaborate closely with IT leaders to ensure proper alignment of resources to current and future programs based on priorities and capacity.
- Maintain thorough and organized management of all project artifacts, including plans, documentation, and decision logs, ensuring traceability and compliance.
- Lead the intake process for all new initiatives, working collaboratively across teams to assess feasibility, prioritize requests, and onboard programs into the portfolio.
- Partner with other portfolio leaders to facilitate and streamline the intake of new programs, ensuring strategic fit, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with technical teams to accurately scope programs, define deliverables, identify dependencies, and establish realistic schedules.
- Drive strategic decisions regarding program execution, including make, buy, or outsource considerations, to optimize delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Lead negotiations and discussions around program priorities, balancing business value, urgency, and available resources.
- Partner with both IT and business leaders to continuously assess and realign resources as needed to ensure program delivery success.
- Coordinate and align with other PMO and portfolio managers to ensure consistent communication practices, shared learnings, and organizational alignment.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to the PMO team, actively nurturing talent and contributing to the professional growth of individual team members.
- Represent the IT organization in key discussions and decision-making forums that have significant impact on IT systems, delivery timelines, and enterprise priorities.
You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in program management, with a demonstrated ability to lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven experience as a System Technical Program Manager, with strong competencies in managing technical implementations and transformations.
- Experience with Finance systems is required, and experience with Sales and Manufacturing systems is considered a strong plus.
- The ability to accurately interpret and translate business processes into well-documented business process requirements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of clearly conveying complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Confidence and skill in presenting reports and data insights across all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
