About your role
We are looking for a collaborative, knowledgeable, passionate and driven Technical expert to join our Madrid-based European Operations Center (EOC). As Project Manager, you will be in a high-paced job where you will be responsible for the daily management and remote coordination of the installation of solar panels in customers’ homes, meeting weekly and monthly targets for quality and customer satisfaction.. In 2023, Otovo centralized its Operations team in Madrid and has built a dynamic, ambitious, international/bilingual team all passionate about the green transition and putting solar panels on every roof in Europe and a battery in every home.
Your responsibilities will includePreliminary technical evaluations of installations
Assignment of projects to local installers based on optimization criteria
Effective management of relationships with partner installation companies, measuring and controlling the quality of delivery
Management of critical cases/eventual problems inherent to the projects
English is a must to communicate with the international team based in Oslo and the rest of the European Operation Center
German language skills are a required.
1+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the photovoltaic industry
Knowledge of solar energy is a plus but not a requirement. However, you will get good training.
Exhibit strong personal drive, integrity, and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related field
Proven experience in the renewable energy industry is haghly valued
Strong project management skills, including planning, executing, and closing projects within budget and timeline constraints. Intuitive understanding of prioritization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to listen, understand, and clearly communicate to ensure everyone is on the same page
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
