Bij Eurofins AquaSense in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht zijn we per direct op zoek naar een enthousiaste Ecoloog, bij voorkeur met ervaring en kennis van de zoete en/of mariene wateren. Als Ecoloog werk je in een team van gedreven vakspecialisten, adviseurs en projectleiders aan een diversiteit van projecten. Met het team van AquaSense voeren we alle onderdelen van een project zelf uit: van het schrijven van offertes en projectplannen, het uitvoeren van veldwerk, het analyseren van faunamonsters in het laboratorium, het analyseren van data, tot schrijven van rapportages. Als ecoloog adviseer je het team inhoudelijk op deze onderdelen, ben je betrokken bij de verwerking van de ingewonnen gegevens tot een product en/ of advies voor onze klanten bij bedrijven, overheden en kennisinstellingen. Bij wederzijdse e mogelijkheid bestaat ook om door te groeien naar projectleider indien geambieerd. Wij werken o.a. aan ecologische monitoring, waterkwaliteit en effecten van ingrepen en maatregelen. Voorbeelden zijn monitoring van macrofauna, inventarisatie van water- en oeverplanten, fytoplankton in rivieren en meren, macrozoöbenthos monitoring op de Noordzee, onderzoek naar de effecten van Windparken op Zee op macrozoöbenthos, zoetwatermossel karteringen in het IJsselmeer en het Haringvliet en analyse van bacteriën en blauwalgen uit open zwemwater.
