Summary 


The Development Analyst will provide entry-level support to the Development team in advancing utility-scale renewable energy projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional passionate about clean energy and sustainability. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and able to support the team with administrative and coordination tasks in a dynamic work environment. 


Key Job Responsibilities 

  • Organize and maintain project files using cloud-based tools like Smartsheet and Box. 
  • Assist in updating trackers and internal systems with project status and key information. 
  • Support team members with scheduling meetings, taking notes, and preparing agendas. 
  • Help coordinate communication with landowners and local stakeholders. 
  • Assist with basic research related to land use, permitting, or utility interconnection. 
  • Prepare and distribute documents such as notices, letters, and reports. 
  • Participate in weekly team calls and action items or follow-up notes. 
  • Perform general administrative and operational support as requested.

Requirements

 Required Education 

  • Associate degree or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, energy, sustainability, business, or related field preferred. 

Required Experience 

  • 0 to 1 year of work experience (internships or school projects related to renewable energy are a plus). 

Other Skills 

  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn and understand the operations of power projects. 
  • Excellent project management skills with a highly organized approach. 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, grammar, spelling and proofreading skills. 
  • Knowledge of software such as Microsoft products, Adobe, and Smartsheet. 
  • High level of personal integrity and business ethics. 
  • Notary Public preferred. 

Physical Requirements 

  • The Development Analyst may be required to endure the following physical activities, environmental conditions, and physical demands: 
  • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces, 
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods, 
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another, 
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions, 
  • Communicating with others to exchange information, 
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and 
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
