Reports to: Supervisor - Electric Line Operations
Location: In Office,  Rochester NY

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $78,091.20 - $97,614

Job Summary

This position provides professional, high-quality support and consultation to T&D Electric Distribution in the areas of business planning, process improvement, performance tracking, financial analysis, and planning assistance. This individual demonstrates a high level of analytical competence through monitoring and making recommendations on various electric distribution processes, maintaining complete confidentiality, projecting a positive image, and effectively handling a variety of special assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate gathering, analysis and presentation of information in support of T&D Electric Distribution strategic operating plan. 40%

• Coordinates, reviews and approves general plant purchases ($1,000 and over) 5%

• Makes day-to-day decisions based on Company policies and procedures. 5%

• Provides analytical support to T&D Electric Distribution operations as well as serves as sponsor to the field analyst group. 20%

• Coordinates Electric Distribution operating and capital budgets. 20%

• Develops and tracks business unit financial performance packages and communicates results. 10%

• Financial Responsibility:

  • Develop Budget: $ $73M O&M and Capital

  • Approximate Budget Responsibility: $73M O&M and Capital

Required Qualifications

• Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related work experience, experience may be substituted for education

  • Related work experience = A minimum of 2 years related experience.

  • Administrative, budgeting, and analytical experience preferred

• Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of electric distribution operations.

  • Thorough knowledge of all company policies and procedures pertaining to electric distribution operations.

  • Familiar with Corporate Emergency Restoration Plan.

  • Knowledge of benchmarking and process improvement techniques.
