Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, competitor offerings, and emerging trends in branded merchandise.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop a suite of merchandise products that meet the needs of both external and internal customers.
- Work closely with the Design, Brand, and Sales teams to ensure merchandise aligns with the Scout brand, excites customers, and drives retail sales.
- Develop a targeted marketing strategy and assets for both the website and workshop.
- Partner with the Marketing team to deploy merchandise-specific campaigns through various channels, including CRM and digital platforms.
- Select and manage vendors who offer high-quality, value-driven merchandise.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure contractual deliverables are met.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstock and shortages while leveraging sales performance data for purchasing and promotional decisions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales, profitability, customer engagement, and emerging trends.
- Utilize merchandising software and data analysis tools to make informed decisions
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out remotely within the United States until a future headquarters announced. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in retail sales and merchandising.
- Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and forecasting.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
- In-depth knowledge of retail trends and consumer behavior.
- Experience with merchandising software and data analysis tools.

- Paid leave for circumstances related to bereavement, jury duty, voting time, or military leave
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $120,000.00 - $140,000.00
Internal leveling code: IC8
