We are looking for a Software Developer with a main responsibility in embedded software development of our automation system. The preferred locations for this position are Vaasa and Turku, Finland. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work. 
  
Your role and responsibilities: 

As a Software developer your work will include designing, implementing and assuring quality of software components, including use of state-of-the-art technologies and tools. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of energetic Automation and Controls team with diverse expertise.
 
Requirements for the position: 

•    Suitable master's or bachelor's degree 
•    Over 3 years’ experience on embedded software (C/C++) development
•    Experience in refining requirements for software functions and collaboration within partner network
•    Experience in automated software testing practices and DevOps
•    Fluency in verbal and written English, our everyday work language is English
•    Good communication and teamwork skills
 
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: 

 
•    Experience in agile development practices
•    Knowledge in field busses and distributed systems
•    Knowledge in modern software development practices
