About the Job

Job Summary: This position is responsible for leading power electronics technology development in Clarios, a new product.  This position is responsible for the system definition and execute to hardware and software development.  The power electronics technology will not be only used in automotive related, but also in adjacent market, PCS in energy storage system.

Report to: Chief Engineer  in CTO office

Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the development of Clarios’ first generation power electronics product in 6-9 months time.
  • Lead the next gen IC development for LV BMS with key Semiconductors.
  • Define  the next generation power electronics product and roadmap.
  • Jointly work on the integration product offer to include multiple battery, DCDC and power distribution.
  • Lead the power electronics technology development for energy storage market, for example PCS.
  • Support of battery development projects for adjacent market.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in CTO office, global product line, business development and corporate strategy as to jointly develop the leading technology in the market.
  • Contribute to Power Electronics  partnership assessment and forming.

Location: Shanghai, CHN

Travel: 15%

Education/Professional Knowledge

  • Master or PHD degree (Power Electronics) or equivalent (electrical preferred)
  • ~15 years working experience in engineering leadership role.
  • Track record of power electronics product (Inverter,OBC,DCDC ) product launch and execution in automotive industry.
  • In depth knowledge of the EE hardware & Software control and latest technology in both Semiconductor and thermal cooling.
  • Decision making capability and strategic thinking.
  • Language: English fluent in oral and written.
