We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager to join our Strategy and Business Development team. In this highly dynamic role, you will drive strategic planning, strategy execution, and creative problem solving to shape our organization’s future direction, identify growth opportunities and develop actionable plans to maintain our competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving automotive and tech industry.

You Will:

  • Lead execution on strategic priorities as aligned with the SVP of Strategy & Business Development, reporting to the Director of Strategy
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify market trends, competitive threats, strategic risks and areas of emerging opportunities
  • Develop and present executive-level strategic recommendations, supported by financial modeling and data-driven insights
  • Translate customer needs into strategic product roadmaps that drive market differentiation and revenue growth
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to develop and scale new business initiatives i.e. build out business case and execute on pilot programs and proof of concepts
  • Communicate strategic vision and roadmaps to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and guide cross functional teams through strategy implementation

You Bring:

  • 10+ years of professional experience with a proven track record in developing corporate strategy and effective execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or equivalent degree
  • Previous experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or investment bank
  • Demonstrated expertise in automotive, mobility or tech/AI sectors
  • Ability to be highly objective, structured and process-oriented; stays objective and utilizes data points to identify root cause of the issue at hand
  • Ability to think clearly and creatively to solve problems; able to implement both immediate stop-gap solutions as well as long-term, sustainable solutions
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive rapid organizational change across the entire company
  • Proven record of project management in highly ambiguous, highly flexible environments
  • Excellent business acumen with strong financial, research and analytical skills to ask the right questions and extract key insights
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication skills to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for a range of audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or relevant graduate degree in business, economics, engineering or equivalent degree
  • Understanding of AI technologies and their business impact, as well as how to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and generate insights
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
 
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$162,300$238,040 USD
