(Senior) GL Accountant

Join our Finance and Accounting team in Valencia as a GL Accountant, where you'll play a key role in financial analysis and reporting for our EMEA business area. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll drive month-end closures, ensure accurate reporting, and collaborate with the finance community to implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain General Ledger Accounts: Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger collaborating closely with the AP and AR Shared Service Center.
• Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Closings: Prepare and complete timely financial closings, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Financial Reporting: Generate accurate financial statements and reports for management review.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the EMEA Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
