Position Specific Description
This position focuses on the day-to-day support of SAP user access for the entity as a whole, with few exceptions. Most frequently, a large portion of this role will be devoted to helping the Company navigate changes in user access, providing day-to-day access support for new hires, transfers (position changes), and to work support tickets for users who are experiencing trouble with their SAP access, suggesting changes to underlying business or technical roles to management as they are identified.
This role will spend time educating users as to how NextEra SAP security is configured and providing them with timely and excellent customer support. This individual must have a strong customer mindset, be independently action oriented and have strong follow through. Ideally, this role is for an individual who has a desire to grow their technical skillet and become more technically capable, with an ultimate desire for future growth opportunities within a Financial Systems Organization.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Day to day support: takes actions to troubleshoot and resolve customer access issues timely and decisively for all assigned areas of SAP, including S4, BPC, BW4, BOBJ, Supply Chain BW, SAP SRM, SAC and GRC
• Daily support for new hires and transfers access requests
• Cancels GRC Requests due to Invalid Access Request Items
• Partners with IT and other business professionals to troubleshoot and resolve ancillary access related issues
• Partners with team members to utilize best practices for SAP Governance
• Educates users on transaction codes, tools, and general work SAP processes
• Assist the Principal Team members with technical / business role changes.
• Support the Annual User Level SOD Mitigation Review / Deloitte Audit Review
• Audit Inquiries and ad-hoc Business Requests for information
• Personal growth and development from in house conferences, events, groups, and other miscellaneous training to enhance knowledge and growth.
Job Overview
Employees in this role partner with business units to understand business needs and help with changes to the SAP. Overall this position is responsible for day-to-day support of the SAP system while also maintaining the integrity of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. This position may work on job related projects including testing or any other needed assignment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ongoing support of the SAP System. This will include daily, weekly, monthly and annual tasks
- Complete SAP system business requests from various departments across the company
- Completes ""Help Desk"" inquiries by investigating questions and system challenges and providing responses and/or training as needed
- Participates in all SAP upgrades, enhancements, and related projects to ensure integrity, consistency, and accuracy of the system
- Participates in evaluating new business requirements and related impacts by collaborating with other in the organization to determine implications, if any, of proposed new or changes and proposes best course of action
- Provides SAP training to the business as needed
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
