About the Job
Workiva is seeking a Lead Product Manager to shape and drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of key platform capabilities within our Admin Pillar—the core services that power user and organization management, compliance, security, and scalability across Workiva's multi-tenant SaaS platform.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of a critical product area that sits at the intersection of platform architecture, enterprise customer needs, and cross-solution enablement. From access controls and audit logging to admin experience and organizational policy enforcement, your work will help define how Workiva’s platform scales with trust, flexibility, and ease of use.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, UX, security, compliance, customer-facing teams, and product leaders across the business to ensure we’re building resilient, user-friendly capabilities that serve both our internal teams and our largest enterprise customers.
What You’ll Do
Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more core capabilities in the Admin Pillar
Translate platform needs and enterprise customer requirements into scalable solutions that serve cross-solution teams
Partner with engineering and UX to guide technical planning, architecture discussions, and execution
Lead product discovery efforts with stakeholders across Workiva—including compliance, security, GTM, and customer experience
Influence cross-product and cross-pillar priorities to ensure admin capabilities align with platform strategy and customer outcomes
Guide product definition, prioritize feature development, and make trade-off decisions that balance usability, performance, and technical risk
Serve as a mentor and thought partner to other PMs, helping to shape best practices and product culture
Represent your product area to leadership and stakeholders, communicating vision, progress, and outcomes clearly
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of product management experience, preferably in enterprise SaaS or platform products
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of backend systems, platform architecture, or technical domains such as identity, security, audit, or admin tooling
Proven track record of defining product strategy and delivering scalable, user-centered features
Experience leading discovery, facilitating cross-functional alignment, and influencing stakeholders across technical and business teams
Strong communication skills—able to navigate ambiguity, drive alignment, and clearly articulate trade-offs and outcomes
Experience with admin-facing products or platform services in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
Background in authentication, authorization, audit logging, or compliance-related tooling
Familiarity with enterprise requirements and user models (e.g., RBAC, delegated access, policy controls)
Experience with product analytics, data-driven decision making, and experimentation
Comfortable working with legal, security, and compliance teams to support regulated customer environments
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Willingness to travel up to 20% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangements
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $151,000.00 - $242,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
