The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for cost reduction / optimization projects by organizing tasks, time, resources, and people throughout the organization. The projects managed from inception, sample creation, and product release into standard production practices.


You will make an impact in this role by:

  • Keeping the projects on track and possessing the ability to foresee the entire project as a whole at all times.
  • Communicating with approved and potential new vendors with information to purchasing.
  • Communicating frequently with all team members that are involved in the project.
  • Reducing total cost, Process and Customer specifications.
  • Exceptional decision making skills at the right time and situation.
  • Developing and maintaining customer project related metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Critical Skills and Attributes include:

  • Able to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Ability to schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish the results.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Above average oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and capabilities.
  • Ability to use Database software, Design software, Internet, Project Management software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing.

Requirements


To be considered for the Project Manager role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • PMP certification
  • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing new product projects


This position will be on-site in Bethlehem, PA.
