Data Automation Intern

In this role, you will be working with Data Automation Engineers and Software Testers to design and develop and implement software automated test scripts.  The implemented test scripts are designed to reduce application testing cycles by up to 50%.  You will be responsible for understanding the functions of the designed applications and the development of testing scripts that will automate the testing for the applications in scope.   

Key Responsibilities:  

• Evaluate application test cases. 

• Familiarize self with relevant applications. 

• Familiarize self with automated testing tool. 

• Design application automated test scripts. 

• Develop automated test scripts per design. 

• Validate automated test scripts. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Candidate shall be working towards a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field with software development experience. 

• Python scripting. 

• Excellent technical communication (written and verbal). 

• Ability to collaborate with peers and customers with different backgrounds. 

• A self-motivated and hands-on problem solver. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Basic experience in software development and testing. 

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version control system.
