The opportunity

We are now looking for a Business Controller for Corporate Functions and Real Estate at Hitachi Energy in Vaasa, Finland. In this challenging role, your focus will be on business and project controlling for our Local Corporate Functions as well as future Finnish Real Estate unit, combined with support in different real estate initiatives. You will be concentrating on providing our Real Estate Projects with financial support and guidance. How You'll Make an Impact

• Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Project controlling, including monitoring cost development, creating analysis reports and financial models, recommending actions to reduce cost, identify risks and improvements
• Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to managers
• Support and collaborate with members of the real estate, accounting and finance community
• Provide support for special initiatives (FM contract, interface to business, IFRS setup, new policies, regulations, portfolio review data, etc.)
• Support and coordinate change control processes
• Manage/support CIMT (investment tool) requests
• Ensure transparent and reliable financial data quality and reporting, following internal guidelines and in accordance with IFRS
• Continuously improving the controlling function and developing control systems, processes, and tools

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
• Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in business controlling
• Excellent accounting and analytical skills are essential
• Real Estate experience is a plus
• Very good SAP and MS Office program skills
• Fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English
• Team player with communication skills
