Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

• Ontwerpen, bouwen en implementeren van complexe C#-applicaties.

• Nauw samenwerken met Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Owners, Frontend Developers en andere stakeholders om ervoor te zorgen dat we de juiste softwareoplossing bouwen.

• Intensieve samenwerking met onze softwarearchitecten om schaalbaarheid te waarborgen.

• Actief bijdragen aan probleemoplossing en het nastreven van best practices binnen onze agile teams.

• Op de hoogte blijven van de nieuwste technologieën en werkwijzen, en de status quo durven uitdagen.

Dit vragen wij van jouw

• Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatie­systemen of een gerelateerd vakgebied.

• Minimaal 4 jaar ervaring in het ontwikkelen van softwareoplossingen in een professionele omgeving, met een sterke focus op backend- of data-georiënteerde ontwikkeling.

• Professionele ervaring met C# en .NET-frameworks (zoals .NET Core, ASP.NET).

• Ervaring met RESTful API’s en webservices.

• Professionele ervaring met databasetechnologieën zoals SQL en PostgreSQL Server.

• Ervaring met technologieën zoals Microsoft Azure en Docker containers, evenals met besturingssystemen zoals Linux.

• Ervaring met JavaScript/TypeScript-gebaseerde frameworks en/of Python is een pré.

• Sterke probleemoplossende capaciteiten, analytisch denkvermogen en het vermogen om te werken in een Agile/Scrum-omgeving.

• Uitstekende beheersing van de Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk; kennis van de Nederlandse of Duitse taal is een pré.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Backend Developer.

Tasks 

• Design, build and deploy complex C# applications.

• Work closely with Data Engineers, Scientists, Product Owners, Frontend Developers and other stakeholders to make sure we are building the right software solution for our stakeholders.

• Work closely with our software architects to ensure scalability.

• Engage in problem solving and pursuit best practices within our agile teams.

• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and practices and challenge the status quo.

What we ask of you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.

• At least 4 years experience in developing software solutions in a professional setting, with a strong emphasis on backend or data-centric development.

• Professional experience in C# and .NET frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET).

• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.

• Professional experience with database technologies such as SQL & PostgreSQL server.

• Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure & Docker container as well as operating systems such as Linux .

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript-based frameworks and/or Python is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills and the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, German or Dutch is an advantage.
