So, you will naturally support in various topics as part of a small team, learn a lot and contribute to building a new company.As Senior Manager – Risk and Outsourcing Management (all genders), you will take a leading role in managing all non-financial and financial risks within Hubject Financial Services (HFS), including fulfilling the official functions of Outsourcing Officer and Digital Operational Resilience (DOR) Officer. You will work closely with the CFO/CRO and act as a key driver in designing and maintaining a resilient, future-proof risk and outsourcing framework. Why Hubject We develop ideas and deliver solutions for the eMobility market We are working on the most important growth topics We are a international team of very motivated eMobility enthusiasts AND We have over plenty of benefits in the following categories: <ul><li>Food &amp; drinks </li><li>Equipment (Laptop etc.)</li><li>Learning &amp; Development </li><li>Mobility</li><li>Work- Life Balance </li></ul> Your Tasks <ul><li>You are responsible for the comprehensive risk management of Hubject FS, covering both non-financial risks (i.e. operational, ICT, outsourcing, etc.) and financial risks, formulating processes and measures to minimize these risks.</li><li>You lead the institution’s outsourcing and further outsourcing management, supporting departments in the continuous identification, assessment, and monitoring of associated risks.</li><li>You maintain and further develop the company’s risk control system, including all related processes, policies, and guidelines, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks such as ZAG MaRisk.</li><li>You are responsible for creating regular risk analyses, including outsourcing risk assessments, operational resilience (DOR) assessments, financial risk reports, and structured governance reporting for internal decision-making bodies.</li><li>You work closely with the Information Security Officer (ISO) of Hubject GmbH to ensure a coordinated approach to ICT security risk management and resilience across internal and outsourced services.</li><li>You coordinate actively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure operational resilience, risk transparency, and effective risk mitigation in all critical and important business areas.</li><li>You contribute to internal and external audits, BaFin inspections, and governance meetings, providing professional risk reporting and proactive recommendations.</li></ul> Your Profile <ul><li>5+ years of experience in risk management in a financial services institution, ideally in payment services or fintech.</li><li>Academic degree in business administration, finance, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Expert knowledge of regulatory requirements for payment institutions (ZAG/PSD2) as well as ZAG MaRisk and DORA.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially in cross-functional settings with C-level and business owners.</li><li>Analytical, KPI-driven, structured, and used to managing initiatives independently.
