We are looking for a motivated and skilled Firmware Engineer to join our firmware development team (R&D Team in Diano d’Alba) and be responsible for creating and implementing software for systems and applications.

The preferred location for the position is Diano d'Alba, Italy.  The position is permanent.

 

What will you be doing?

In this position, your work will include performing the firmware development process according to the work plan. You will not be working on this alone you will have the support from our Senior Software Engineer and the Manager of Product Development and colleagues part of the R&D Dept.

You are educated engineer with Firmware development knowledges with experience in microprocessors and some experience in hardware design.

You are good at written and oral English, as you will cooperate with international development teams, suppliers as well as internal and external stakeholders.

 

You will shine in this role when you have:

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in working primarily with ARM processors
  • You are prior experience in embedded firmware development C, Linux, Embedded System, and code development processes with debugging emulation and simulation tools.
  • Designing and implementing software algorithms to deliver cutting-edge solutions
  • Creating design documents pertinent to the various phases of firmware development
  • Testing, debugging, verification, and validation of functional modules against requirements
  • Providing post-development support
  • Working closely with the team to deliver and optimize system performance
  • Staying up to date with firmware development methodologies
  • You possess a good understanding of software development life cycles.
  • You have knowledge of basic electronics hardware and its interfacing with software systems.
  • You are a strong problem solver and team player.
  • You are good at written and oral English, as you will cooperate with international development teams, suppliers as well as internal and external stakeholders
