Due to incoming projects in our organization in Wärtsilä Gas Solutions we are searching Process Control Engineer in Process Control Systems section.
Position will be based in Valencia, Spain and requires valid work authorization
Responsibilities:
- Develop system design for customized (external) control systems.
- Prepare design basis in alignment with project requirements and objectives.
- Actively participate in project (P&ID / HAZOP / Design) reviews and other relevant meetings.
- Create detailed design documentation:
- Block Diagram
- Signal list
- Technical Specification
- Functional Design Specification
- Cause and Effect diagram
- Interface lists
- Prepare Technical Specifications, Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Requisitions (PRs)
- Review and verify technical bids.
- Review and verify supplier documentation.
- Coordinate technical information between project and suppliers.
- Verify that equipment and systems are assembled and delivered according to technical specifications.
- Participate in FAT.
- Give input to Commissioning procedure and participate in Commissioning / Gas Trials/Test Runs when needed.
- Ensure that projects operate in line with defined discipline work procedures and methods.
- Actively contribute to continuous development of discipline work activities and methods, and documentation (procedures & templates).
Qualifications:
- Education: B.Sc. (Eng) / M.Sc. (Eng) Control / Automation / Process / Cybernetics Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in designing and implementing control systems.
- Strong knowledge of engineering documentation and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of control systems architecture, software and hardware design
- Fluent English language skills, both verbally and written.

We are looking for persons with genuine interest in electrical and automation systems, that are: task and result oriented, structured, team oriented and enthusiastic about new challenges. Analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve complex PLC programming issues.
