The role

We are seeking an experienced Structure Engineer to join our team for one of hydropower projects based in KPK. This role requires a dedicated professional with a solid foundation in civil engineering and extensive experience in structural design and supervision, particularly in the hydropower sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing structural engineering activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations

• Supervise on-site construction activities related to structural works, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with quality control standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct structural analysis and provide solutions to address challenges encountered during construction.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and technical submittals.
• Collaborate with the project management team to maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Lead site inspections and audits to assess the integrity and safety of structural works.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and construction staff.

With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or relevant discipline).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in structural design and supervision, preferably in hydropower or similar infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in using software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
• Sound communication skills (written & verbal).
