The role
We are looking for a Computer Operator for a road project based in Gilgit, Pakistan. The candidate must have extensive experience in computer operations, data management, and software proficiency, particularly in road infrastructure projects, to ensure effective data entry, document control, and timely preparation of reports and records.

• Perform accurate and efficient data entry related to project documentation and records.
• Manage and maintain a secure database of all project-related files, ensuring easy retrieval when required.
• Prepare and compile daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for the project team.
• Assist in the preparation and formatting of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and updating of all necessary documents.
• Support administrative tasks, such as printing, scanning, and photocopying documents as required.

With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Sciences, IT or a related field)
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Computer Operator, preferably in road infrastructure or construction projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project-specific software/tools.
• Basic understanding of hardware, software, and troubleshooting common IT issues.
