About the Job

Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. From changing a single person’s daily commute to reducing humanity’s collective environmental footprint — we’ve got huge goals.

As a Tech Ops Program Manager at Via, you'll be an integral part of our Tech Ops team, responsible for overseeing Via’s delivery from inception to completion. You will have full responsibility for planning and managing all the engineering projects for your group. This includes implementing engineering and delivery best practices to achieve optimal efficiency, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, and meeting product definitions, quality, and technical requirements. You will collaborate with various internal teams, including Engineering, Product Management, QA, Project Management, business and others.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely in a matrix interaction with tech leads, software engineers, product managers, technical project managers, QA, researchers, and other internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test, and release on time).
  • Serve as a driving force for introducing and implementing engineering and product best practices, using data-driven methodologies and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Manage the engineering team's priorities, considering various delivery and product constraints, alongside cross-engineering dependencies.
  • Set project schedules and ensure on-time completion of development efforts.
  • Identify potential issues in project schedules and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, maintaining high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead several technical programs, setting priorities for products and engineering, leading cross-functional teams to bring products to market, ensuring success metrics inform future efforts, and quickly fine-tuning the program as needed.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in program/project management from a SaaS company or large companies rather than startups.
  • Extraordinary communicator with the ability to work with everyone in the company at both a conceptual and detailed level.
  • Can-do attitude - able to solve real-time issues and make things happen.
  • Tech-savvy, with great analytical skills.
  • Able and eager to learn new things quickly.
  • High familiarity with the software development life cycle.
  • Able to initiate and lead a project from scratch to completion.
  • Multitasker, highly organized, knows how to prioritize, able to switch between detail-oriented and high-level perspectives.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to work under pressure.
  • Past experience working in Scrum/Agile is an advantage.
  • Past experience as a developer or in another technical role is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluent in English (speech, writing, and reading) - a must.

What We Offer:

  • Our product impacts millions of users around the world  providing alternative transport solutions that are more: efficient and accessible, changing cities to make them greener.
  • Competitive compensation package which includes base salary and stock options
  • Health insurance with a discount for family members
  • Hybrid work and a lovely office situated in the heart of TLV, in Midtown, close to the light rail and train station
  • Career development and growth opportunities
  • Other perks: Freefit and other sports lessons, 10bis/Cibus - you choose!, happy hours, team events, communities and many more benefits
