From building commercial partnerships and evaluating project business cases to executing market research and stakeholder analysis, you’ll gain first-hand experience at the intersection of strategy, project management, and deep tech commercialization. How you'll contribute Specifically you will…<ul><li>Drive components of first-of-a-kind (FOAK) project initiatives from concept to execution.</li><li>Own and manage planning tools that track timelines, workstreams, and deliverables.</li><li>Prepare presentations and internal briefings that inform commercial and strategic decisions.</li><li>Draft and refine commercial agreements including NDAs, MOUs, and term sheets.</li><li>Shape project business cases by integrating commercial, technical, and regulatory insights.</li><li>Conduct market and policy analysis across sectors and geographies relevant to our scaling roadmap</li><li>Map stakeholders and identify strategic partners, contact leads, and reference projects.</li></ul>Your first 12 months in the role: expectations and deliverablesMonths 0-3<ul><li>Get to know our team, workflows, and the fundamentals of our technology, business model, and project development approach</li><li>Support day-to-day project coordination by assisting with planning tools, meeting follow-ups, and documentation</li><li>Help build internal structures (e.g., slide templates, project tracking tools, contract and contact databases)</li></ul>Months 3-6 <ul><li>Take on ownership of selected work packages (e.g., market or stakeholder research, contract support, project timelines)</li><li>Independently contribute to the preparation of documents for external stakeholders or internal planning</li><li>Support deliverable tracking across project workstreams and help ensure documentation is up-to-date and aligned</li></ul>Months 6-12 <ul><li>Maintain structured overviews of key contacts, partners, and project references</li><li>Contribute to the evolution of project business cases, including commercial inputs and updates</li><li>Actively participate in cross-functional efforts, such as go-to-market activities, stakeholder engagement, or feasibility planning</li></ul> About you <ul><li>Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in business, engineering, economics, political science, or a related field</li><li>Genuine interest in climate tech, startups, and the challenge of scaling breakthrough technologies</li><li>A curious, structured mindset with the ability to learn quickly and simplify complex topics</li><li>Initial experience in consulting, venture capital, startups, or academic research is a plus</li><li>Confidence using PowerPoint and/or Notion; basic modeling skills in Excel or Sheets are beneficial</li><li>Fluency in English required; German skills are an advantage but not essential</li></ul> What we offer <ul><li>20 days vacation plus public holidays to ensure you also have the down time needed to rest and recharge.</li><li>The possibility to grow and shape your role.</li><li>Working with founders who understand - and invest time in - the importance of building a healthy and sustainable organization.</li><li>Open and transparent communication on company development.</li></ul> Noteworthy points While this role cannot be done fully remotely, there is considerable flexibility for hybrid setups.Did you like what you just read? GCT operates a low energy DAC approach to capture CO2 while generating hydrogen as a byproduct. The process consists of 3 main process steps. Absorption in a liquid, precipitation and desorption through alkaline electrolysis. The technology is based on 15 years of research with relevant patent applications filed and working prototypes. The company was founded as a university spin-out by 2 serial entrepreneurs and an experienced DAC researcher.
