How You Stand Out:

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience working with heavy machinery, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.

• Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, tractors, or a strong willingness to learn.

Skills & Traits:

You troubleshoot like a pro and don’t flinch when things get weird—you just roll up your sleeves and figure it out.

You’ve got field grit—lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and crawling into tight spaces doesn’t faze you.

You show up with a good attitude, not excuses—you’re solution-focused, ownership-minded, and always ready to pitch in.

You’re adventure-ready and open to traveling to remote job sites for up to 2 weeks at a time.

Your Role In Action:

Operate and Maintain:

Run one or more of our field-based pyrolyzer systems to safely and efficiently produce bio-oil used for carbon removal.

Problem Solve in the Field:

Diagnose downtime issues, perform preventative maintenance, and offer real-time feedback to improve equipment performance.

Drive Safety Standards:

Maintain a clean and secure job site, follow safety protocols, and provide input on safety improvements.

Collaborate Across Teams:

Work with field operators, engineers, vendors, and support teams to keep operations running 24/7.

Make an Impact:

Your data reporting and equipment insights directly contribute to customer reports and system design improvements.

<p>Our mission is to reverse climate change and return the atmosphere to 280 ppm CO₂. To pursue this challenge, we convert waste biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil and inject it into permanent, underground storage wells as a form of carbon removal, or reform it to produce green hydrogen and syngas for industrial processes like steel, cement, and chemicals manufacturing.</p> <p>In 2020 and 2021, our carbon removal technology has gained traction with partners like Stripe, Shopify & Microsoft. In the next 18 months, we will deploy the latest and greatest version of our mobile pyrolysis plant, perform a pilot demonstration of our green syngas technology with a steel plant, substantially expand our commercial operations in the Midwest and put more than 1,000 tonnes of CO₂e underground.</p>
