Drive open issues to closure through tracking, delegation, and escalation.</li><li>Plan program activities and develop master timing schedules that meet program objectives.</li><li>Lead the assigned program(s)’ activities for continuous future development, growth and improvement of the program, department and company.</li><li>Within the scope of responsibility, ensure customer satisfaction feasibility and design specifications and keep record of customer design.</li><li>Travel to customer locations supporting product development throughout for product reviews, testing, and change updates with periodic travel with customer to company manufacturing facilities (domestic and international).</li><li>Develop program status reports and report status to management.</li><li>Lead the coordination of technical reviews, including dry-runs to ensure customer expectations are addressed.</li><li>Maintain master program book and coordinate APQP activities.</li><li>Monitor prototype and pre-production builds for adherence to design intent. Identifies issues and leads resolutions.</li><li>Responsible for coordinating all product development activity between OEM customer and responsible departments within the company.</li><li>Manage assigned program’s product launch phases (including control of program timing requirements, program issues and commercial impact of design changes.</li><li>(PM II ONLY) Review and/or develop cost analyses and proposals aimed at reduction of cost and/or improvement or the assigned program’s sales operations.</li><li>Participate in customer strategic discussions for issue resolution.</li><li>Lead coordination of manufacturing, quality, and engineering “exceptions” and/or clarification lists. Ensure all customer requirements have been addressed. Work with teams to negotiate requirements with customer.</li><li>Manage internal project approval and cost details, technical and commercial change logs.</li><li>Directly support project teams (engineer, quality, sales, etc.) and follow up on related projects.</li></ul>Qualifications (Education Skills and/or Special Knowledge): The ideal candidate will:<ul><li>Excellent analytical and communication skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project</li><li>High level of customer interface experience</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal direction</li><li>Well organized, detail oriented</li></ul>Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Project/Program ManagementExperience: 0 – 5 years of industry experienceSupervisory Responsibilities: May be required to supervise the duties of others to perform the job responsibilities as designated by area/department management to ensure project success/deliverables.Job level determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilitiesWorking Conditions: Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
