The IT Support Specialist will work closely with IT leadership as well as other internal and external teams to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and support various technology initiatives within the organization. Responsibilities include: <ul><li>Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.</li><li>Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. </li><li>Manage user accounts and permissions in accordance with company policies and security protocols. </li><li>Collaborate with the IT leadership to implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.</li><li>Assist with the deployment and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, networking equipment, and cloud services.</li><li>Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to employees on IT best practices and use of technology resources.</li><li>Assist with the evaluation and procurement of IT hardware, software, and services.</li><li>Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to optimize performance and reliability.</li><li>Recommend innovative solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.</li><li>Work within a Helpdesk environment utilizing the Helpdesk to monitor and track issues.</li><li>Collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and outside agencies as needed.</li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>What we need you to bring to the team: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.</li><li>Experience in an IT support or a related role, with a strong understanding of desktop, network, and server technologies.</li><li>Experience with a RMM or ERP solution for remote management and support.</li><li>Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a Windows and/or Linux environment. </li><li>Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based productivity tools. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li></ul> What we want you to bring to the team: <ul><li>1+ years of industry experience working in an IT support role, with a strong understanding of desktop, network, and server technologies (excludes internships, co-ops, and other school projects)    </li><li>Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) </li><li>Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences and effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders </li><li>Experience in facilitating training sessions and workshops to promote IT best practices and enhance user proficiency </li></ul><div><div>  Compensation:   <ul><li>The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $25-$28 per hour and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.  </li></ul> Benefits For You:  <ul><li>100% paid premiums across all medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance plans </li><li>Reasonable use PTO </li><li>$1,800 in annual employer HSA contributions (health savings account) </li></ul> Benefits For Your Family:  <ul><li>100% paid premiums across all medical, dental, vision, and telemedicine plans </li><li>12 weeks of paid parental leave </li></ul> Benefits For Your Future:  <ul><li>401k with up to 5% matching contributions which vest 100% on day one  </li><li>Eligibility for incentive stock options </li></ul></div></div>
