This role ensures integration, optimization, and performance of enterprise systems to support evolving business needs. The director will lead a cross-functional team and collaborate with business units, vendors, and IT stakeholders to drive modernization and operational excellence.<h2>Responsibilities</h2>Strategic Leadership – 35% <ul> <li>Define and lead the SAP and cloud strategy in alignment with enterprise objectives.</li> <li>Provide vision and direction to cross-functional teams supporting SAP and cloud solutions.</li> <li>Conduct market research and competitive analysis.</li> <li>Oversee architecture decisions and modernization roadmaps.</li></ul>Vendor and Partner Management – 25%<ul> <li>Manage key vendor relationships and evaluate service delivery and performance.</li> <li>Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and cost optimization strategies.</li> <li>Ensure partners comply with security and compliance standards.</li></ul>Operations and Service Management – 20%<ul> <li>Ensure stability, availability, and performance of SAP and cloud platforms.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement in incident, change, and release management practices.</li> <li>Collaborate with support teams to maintain high service levels.</li></ul>Financial Planning and Governance – 15%<ul> <li>Develop and manage budgets for SAP and cloud initiatives.</li> <li>Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with approved investments.</li> <li>Implement governance models for demand management and prioritization.</li></ul>Team Development and Collaboration – 5%<ul> <li>Mentor team members and build capability in enterprise application support and delivery.</li> <li>Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.</li></ul>Supervision of Others: This will have direct reports.<h2>Qualifications</h2>Education/Experience – <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field</li> <li>10+ years of experience in enterprise systems, including SAP and cloud.</li> <li>Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives</li></ul>Skills/Knowledge/Abilities – <ul> <li>Deep expertise in SAP and cloud ecosystems (e.g., S/4HANA, AWS)</li> <li>Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities</li> <li>Knowledge of IT service management and enterprise architecture</li> <li>Excellent vendor negotiation and contract management skills</li> <li>Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities</li></ul>Physical Requirements: Working Conditions:80% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 20% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.
