<ul><li>Act as key engineering interface for day-to-day plant maintenance and operations activities, participate in the plant daily morning meeting.</li><li>Support the planning and implementation of maintenance outages.</li><li>Focus on maintaining or improving equipment condition and performance, being cognizant of available techniques and practices.  Identify and assist in resolution of emergent equipment issues.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors as applicable, for related products and services.</li><li>Safety oversite of contractors including holding LOTO’s, performing pre and post job tailboards.</li><li>Be accountable for work performed by contractors while on site.</li><li>Prepare and maintain necessary technical documentation and operating and performance history records.</li><li>Assist the maintenance and operations functions with troubleshooting activities, and with startup and shutdown tasks.</li><li>Be available to provide engineering support as needed for a 24x7 operation (be available for overtime and callouts).</li><li>Assist in the work on smaller engineering projects or well-defined areas of larger projects.</li><li>Use existing procedures to investigate, evaluate and assist in producing technically correct and cost-effective designs or recommendations that solve ongoing problems.</li><li>Build relationships that will facilitate knowledge transfer, cross functional knowledge of related work groups, and ability to present work products effectively.</li><li>Gather and correlate basic engineering data using well defined engineering procedures, which may include routine and diagnostic testing of components and systems, and engineering studies.</li><li>Assist in a variety of topics including developing innovative procedures, improved design recommendations or new or better equipment purchase recommendation</li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Note: </b><span>You will have an opportunity to add attachments to your application.
