This involves defining project goals, creating detailed plans, monitoring progress, identify and managing risks, coordinating with various stakeholders and team members including subcontractors, to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget, all while aiming to achieve successful project outcomes.  Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Work in collaboration with project engineers, construction site managers and other team members to ensure that project milestones are met safely, on schedule, and within budget.</li><li>Accurately report on project status by providing regular updates, including but not limited to schedules, financials, risks and opportunities, and other relevant items.</li><li>Work in a safe, cost-effective and responsible manner, with a team of professionals who provide technical expertise and project support from inception to completion.</li><li>Assist in technical due diligence in conjunction with other departments.</li><li>Ensures compliance with established project management methodologies and standards.</li><li>Ensures process feedback mechanisms are implemented and utilized for identifying process efficiencies and improvements, including process and functional quality audits, and focusing on Company strategic initiatives</li></ul>Required Qualifications  <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>5+ years experience in project management, construction management or engineering or a related field; utility transmission, distribution, or generation experience highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including effective negotiating and dispute resolution skills.</li><li>Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management.</li><li>Proficiency using tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or other Enterprise Management System</li><li>Ability to travel 50%.</li><li>Driver's License</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>A working Knowledge of safety laws, environmental laws, labor laws, construction law, contracts, claims avoidance, insurance, and permit compliance. </li><li>Effective negotiating and dispute resolution skills.</li><li>Experience in Front End Loading (FEL or FEED) Gated processes.</li><li>Renewable industry experience and best practices.</li><li>Experience with risk management.</li><li>OSHA, PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.</li><li>Proficiency using Primavera P6 and SAP.</li><li>Coaching and Mentoring experience</li></ul>Additional Success Factors<ul><li>Ability to foster and participate in a productive team environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, customers, contractors, and vendors.</li><li>Ability to analyze project risks and proactively identify solutions with a flexible, creative, and solution-focused outlook on problem solving.</li><li>Maintains effectiveness during procedural/organizational changes and when dealing with varying personality styles and tasks.</li><li>Effectively provides and receives information orally in individual and group situations.
