These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.  Job Description  Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, annual report for Month-End.Process and analyze financial information and provide relevant and timely reportingMaintain VAT filing by validating, researching, and loading into tax authorities management software.Work with reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts, Balance sheet and P&amp;L.Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.Enter data and prepare a variety of reports.Various general clerk duties such as filing, faxing, copying and collating.Assist supervisor in projects and auditsAd hoc tasks in FinanceOverall general review of accounting procedures/practices and reporting to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Teledyne Corporate guidelines.Maintain documentation on internal control and accounting processes for Corporate and Sarbanes Oxley 404 complianceEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Associate´s or 2-year degree in Accounting or related field preferred.Familiarity with and understanding of basic accounting concepts and applicationExperience using MS Office, including Outlook and Excel (moderate skill level)Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsExperience with general ledger reconciliation a plusExperience preparing and filing VAT returnsKnowledge of Microsoft AX and /or similar accounting systems.
