We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Systems Analyst to join our team supporting the digital infrastructure at the Susquehanna nuclear facility. This role is responsible for the maintenance, enhancement, and reliability of existing computer-based systems, including networks and digital plant systems. The incumbent will work independently with minimal supervision and significant autonomy, often serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for critical systems.This position may require availability on a 24/7 basis to support high-priority systems and resolve issues as needed.<h3></h3>How You’ll Power the FutureAt Talen Energy, your work fuels progress. In this role, you’ll do more than contribute you’ll drive meaningful change by:<ul><li>Perform implementation, evaluation, installation, testing, and modification of digital computer systems and networks.</li><li>Maintain and support Process Computer, Cyber Security systems, and other plant digital systems in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.</li><li>Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on hardware and software, including physical installations and upgrades.</li><li>Troubleshoot complex computer systems issues with little to no assistance and ensure high system availability and performance.</li><li>Maintain accountability and ownership for the health of supported systems, acting as the primary point of contact.</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to project and process improvement teams.</li><li>Lead or support Engineering and Plant Work Management processes, serving as Engineering Point of Contact or Duty System Engineer.</li><li>Interface with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Maintenance, Security, and Training to ensure seamless integration of system solutions.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation, technical procedures, guidelines, and support tools.</li><li>Ensure all system development complies with SSES Software Quality Assurance (SQA) requirements.</li><li>Manage projects by analyzing, developing, integrating, testing, and implementing system solutions, often serving as project lead.</li><li>Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure system relevance and performance.</li><li>Support and comply with all safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures.</li></ul>What You Have:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering/Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.</li><li>Demonstrated experience performing computer system maintenance and hardware/software installation.</li><li>Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-stakes, team-oriented environment.</li><li>Must successfully obtain and maintain Nuclear Security Clearance.</li></ul><h3></h3>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience in developing computer requirements, documentation, and test plans.</li><li>Strong knowledge of digital system architecture, hardware/software integration, and networking technologies.</li><li>Working knowledge and experience with:<ul><li>Microsoft Windows, Linux, VMware</li><li>Active Directory management</li><li>Relational Databases (MS SQL, Access)</li><li>Networking fundamentals and protocols</li></ul></li><li>Familiarity with Cyber Security requirements in a nuclear or highly regulated environment.</li><li>Experience in a nuclear, utility, or industrial operations setting is highly desirable.</li></ul>Why Talen Energy?Power the FutureTalen Energy is one of the largest competitive energy and power generation companies in North America.
