The Application Engineer is a key contributor to the development, implementation and validation of applications and machines that enhance the overall customer experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role will be pivotal in translating customer needs into innovative technical solutions that contribute to the differentiation and competitiveness of TOMRA's products and services.  Primary Job Functions<ul><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer requirements and pain points </li><li>Translate customer needs into technical specifications and requirements for software applications and hardware improvements </li><li>Design and develop software and system applications that align with the customer value proposition strategy </li><li>Work with Software and AI team to develop AI models, including Data labelling and model testing and refinement </li><li>Implement solutions that enhance the user experience and contribute to the overall value proposition </li><li>Ensure that applications seamlessly integrate with existing business processes and systems </li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement </li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, marketing, R&amp;D, and customer support escalations </li><li>Provide technical support and expertise to enhance the overall value proposition </li><li>Can work within a team environment or remotely to achieve tasks </li><li>Promote a “Safety first” culture throughout the company, our customers, and our industry </li></ul>
