AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for a creative, highly talented Assistant Project Manager for immediate employment in our Boston, MA location which serves as our home office to support programs throughout the US and internationally.In this position s/he will assist in the development of task order proposals; support the management team in tracking task budgets, monitoring activity schedules, and implementing product quality standards; and otherwise support the Project and Program Managers. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in the management of technical and administrative staff on a wide variety of complex projects worldwide.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>In partnership with the Project Manager, you will assist in leading the project team (Architects &amp; Engineers), or multiple teams in the delivery of a wide range of projects</li><li>Ensuring project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications</li><li>Reviewing contracts and sub-contracts and assisting to manage subcontractors</li><li>Monitoring project financials and reporting to the Project Manager</li><li>Assist in leading calls with project team and preparing meeting minutes</li><li>Assist with client meetings and preparing meeting minutes</li><li>Developing and maintaining design schedules for approval</li><li>Resolving client review comments with the project team</li><li>Assist in preparing project design review presentation.</li><li>Maintain action items and request for information to the client</li><li>Resolving field-initiated questions with the technical design team</li><li>Coordinating and directing activities among the design groups</li><li>Participating and attending design review meetings and recording meeting minutes and tracking action items</li><li>Coordinating the development of project deliverables with the design team</li><li>Participating in building and maintaining a positive client relationship</li></ul>
