<h1>Primary Purpose of Position</h1><p></p><p>Support the Regional Lead, Roads &amp; Highways, Southeast Asia &amp; Pacific in the administrative, project delivery and commercial operations of R&amp;H Pacific, covering the Pacific Region and some other SEA countries at managers discretion on ad hoc basis.</p><p></p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><p></p><h3>Operations<br>1. Prepare the Roads &amp; Highways, Pacific annual budgets, and quarterly forecast.<br>2. Monitor actuals vs target and contribute to the sub-sector meeting its monthly and annual<br>targets.<br>3. Prepare annual, monthly operations and bi-weekly status reports for the sub-sector.<br>4. Manage the R&amp;H SEAP Operations Team and ensure that the team’s tasks, deliverables,<br>and targets are met<br>5. Adhere strictly to SMEC’s Business Management System (BMS), Quality Management<br>Systems (QMS) and OH&amp;S procedures.<br>6. Ensure that corporate reviews, approvals, and compliance requirements are met and<br>complied with.<br>7. Any other relevant duties as assigned.</h3><p></p><h3>Project Management<br>1. Assist R&amp;H SEAP Lead in R&amp;H project win and delivery activities.<br>2. Oversight support in management and project implementation, specifically monitoring the<br>financial health of projects vis a vis contract and budget and provide timely actions as<br>issues arise.<br>3. Ensure timely set up and mobilization of new projects in the region. This may include, but<br>not limited to, staff, partner and subconsultant contracting, communication protocols,<br>project management plan, physical project office set-up, logistics, etc<br>4. Ensure WIP and Debtors are kept at minimum, closely working with country leads, project<br>coordinators, project managers and client, providing necessary actions and resolution for<br>issues encountered.<br>5. Provide inputs to the PPR and flash reports in coordination with the finance team, project<br>coordinators and project managers<br>6. Ensure Epicor project plans are up to date<br>7. Ensure that Project compliance requirements are in place (Approvals, PMP, PDS, Risk<br>Management, Project Workspace, Supplier Registration, Due Diligence etc.),<br>8. Ensure contractual obligations are met.</h3><p></p><h2>Business Development</h2><h3><br>1. Assist R&amp;H SEAP Lead in R&amp;H in opportunity tracking, assessment, and submissions<br>2. Provide oversight in the preparation of Proposals and EOIs.<br>3. Prepare commercial proposals<br>4.
