Quality Technician, St. Joseph DC (2nd shift)What you will do:    <ul><li>Provide quality support to necessary manufacturing operations and new product launches.  </li><li>Work in a manufacturing environment and apply QA &amp; QC knowledge into manufacturing processes.  </li><li>Support ISO/TS16949 internal and external Audits  </li><li>Support quality improvement efforts in designated areas with an ultimate goal of improving "zero defects" performance.  </li><li>Work with Quality team to implement related root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions.  </li></ul>How you will do it<ul><li>Track and measure critical processes within the plant  </li><li>Calibrate and certify products and accessories to meet tolerances and product specifications  </li><li>Prepare calibration reports and certificates  </li><li>Assist in the investigation and disposition of Non-conforming material   </li><li>Assist in gathering data, compiling information and assisting management in development of metrics and reports  </li><li>Perform audit in assigned manufacturing areas as needed and directed by supervisor  </li><li>Prepare reports as needed </li></ul> What we look for:    Required: <ul><li>Availability to work 2nd shift is required</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree, preferably with 1 year experience or Associates or Technical Degree  </li><li>Previous Automotive or Tier 1 experience is a plus  </li><li>Experience in ISO/TS16949 standards and facilitating continuous improvement using formal quality methodology and tools is a plus </li><li>Experience with and proficiency in completing Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) format PPAP documentation is a plus  </li><li>ASQ Certification is a plus   </li></ul>What we do here<div>Our St. Joseph, Missouri distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks.
