Responsibilities:<ul><li>Knowledgeable on civil (roads/drainage/embankment) and structural (bridges/viaduct).</li><li>Prepare engineering 2D &amp; 3D CAD drawings including volume calculations.</li><li>In-charge of all CAD project documentation (both soft and hard copies) for reference and future use.</li><li>Carefully study the design sketches, notes and other relevant material received from the Planning team/Design engineer and carry out all instructions given.</li><li>Bring to the Design Engineer’s attention any item that is not clear, does not seem to be correct or is worthy of discussion.</li><li>Plan the design drawings by determining what details and information need to be placed on each sheet, the scale to be used, the number of sheets required and the sequence of the sheets. Discuss this with the CAD Manager and get approval.</li><li>When necessary, prepare sketches and computations to accurately draw and place details and other information on the drawings. Keep this information for future reference.</li><li>Maintain a CAD file for storing all check prints and drawings issued for a design lot, in chronological order.</li><li>After the drawings have been completed, print a hardcopy and check all dimensions, chainages, elevations, sections and details for accuracy. When satisfied print a hardcopy to be used as design check print by the Design Engineer.</li><li>After completion of checking receive marked-up check prints indicating possible corrections, deletions or additions. Verify the corrections and changes indicated on the check prints and bring to the Planning team/Design Engineer’s attention any item that is not clear or is worthy of discussion. Make the agreed changes to the original drawings.</li><li>Follow all CAD procedures and standards.</li><li>Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.</li></ul>Appropriate professional/technical qualifications.Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting or a similar role.</li><li>Strong technical proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.</li><li>Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Experience working in a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Willing to accept Project-base status</li><li>Willing to be assigned in Manila.</li></ul>At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
