We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world. We’re looking for Senior Contracts Manager - South and East Africa   will lead the full end-to-end contract lifecycle from bid to close-out, ensuring commercial value delivery, risk mitigation, and governance across complex energy and infrastructure projects             Why Aggreko?<ul><li>Position will be based in South Africa</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li><li>Industry-leading benefit plans including medical insurance</li><li>Continuous training and development with career growth opportunities</li><li>Safety-focused culture</li></ul>What you’ll do: Contract Lifecycle Ownership<ul><li>Lead the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from tender and proposal development through to contract execution, renewal, and close-out</li><li>Collaborate with legal, commercial, technical, and finance teams to structure contracts that are clear, enforceable, and commercially sound</li><li>Draft, review, and manage the contract summary document, including all updates, addenda, and key obligations</li><li>Define clear RACI matrices for each stage of the contract, ensuring seamless transition from pre-award to operations</li><li>Track and enforce performance obligations, milestones, and commercial triggers throughout the contract term</li><li>Lead structured post-contract reviews to capture lessons learned and inform future contract strategies</li></ul>Operational Execution &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Own the Project Review Pack, providing timely insights on contract health, risks, and performance</li><li>Ensure accurate billing, revenue capture, and invoicing tied to contractual T&amp;Cs (Capacity, O&amp;M, Energy)</li><li>Monitor adherence to contractual commitments from all parties and flag deviations early</li><li>Support project teams in execution planning and scope governance</li><li>Drive visibility on contract margins and value leakage throughout execution</li></ul>Governance, Risk &amp; Dispute Management<ul><li>Identify, quantify, and track contractual risks proactively from onboarding through delivery</li><li>Act as a key stakeholder in resolving disputes and claims, working closely with legal and leadership</li><li>Ensure documentation control and compliance with audit readiness across the lifecycle</li><li>Lead structured processes for change orders, recharges, contract renewals, and expansions</li></ul>Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Champion continuous process optimization in contract management workflows</li><li>Build and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard clauses aligned with governance frameworks</li><li>Coach commercial and project teams on contract awareness and execution best practices</li></ul>You’ll have the following skills and experience:  Education<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in law, Engineering. Holder of both degrees will be factored for selection</li><li>Contract management certifications (e.g., CCM, WorldCC) are preferred</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>+8 years of experience in contract management across Energy, O&amp;G sectors</li><li>Proven track record in managing complex contracts end-to-end: from proposal stage to final account close-out</li><li>Strong exposure to cross-functional collaboration in project-based environments</li></ul>Core Competencies<ul><li>Strong legal and commercial acumen</li><li>Strategic mindset with attention to lifecycle performance</li><li>Skilled in risk identification and de-risking strategies</li><li>High accuracy and problem-solving orientation</li><li>Stakeholder influence and cross-border coordination</li><li>Systems proficiency in contract management and reporting tools</li><li>English proficiency is required, French is a plus</li></ul>Find out more and apply now.Bring your energy.
