And that’s where you come in.Job Description:Job Title: Senior Installation Design EngineerRole Description<ul><li>Identify contract requirements in terms of equipment and cableways installation design and monitor their compliance within the assigned Project.</li><li>Coordinate and verify the installation design of the main railway systems technologies (Signalling, Power Supply and Traction Power, Telecommunications, Automatic Fare Collection, Security/Surveillance, Public Address, etc.).</li><li>Prepare and Generate the Combined Service Drawings (CSD) and Structural Electrical Mechanical Drawings (SEM) for the Core Electrical &amp; Mechanical (E&amp;M) Systems including Track Works of a Railway or Metro Rapid Transit System by interfacing with all the systems of the including civil, architectural, utilities, rolling stock, track works, and Core E&amp;M.</li><li>Find and solve clashes from BIM federated models, CSD and SEM.</li><li>Cooperate with BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator in the definition of all required information to define equipment BIM models, based on the target level of development identified in the BIM Execution Plan.</li><li>Cooperate with each Technology to define and provide all the required information to create BIM models of all Project disciplines in accordance with target level of development.</li><li>Support Construcion activities by mitigating and assessing any upcoming deviation.</li><li>Prepare As-built drawings.</li><li>Prepare, attend or chair clash detection resolution meetings.</li><li>Reply work related formal letters, e-mails, or request of information.</li><li>Visit construction sites, prepare related reports, and solve for clash by using CSD &amp; SEM.</li><li>Exchange work related information by requested time.</li><li>Report work status and issues to Project Office and Company.</li><li>Record and compile work related letters, meeting minutes, document and issues.</li><li>Be attentive to identify, monitor and escalate criticalities on installation design to installation design work package leader and to upper management</li><li>Identify effort required to rework specific installation design tasks.</li></ul>Essential Requirements<ul><li>Proficient skills in the use of AutoCAD</li><li>Basic knowledge of BIM processes</li><li>Good skills of Autodesk Navisworks and clash detection coordination</li><li>Knowledge of Railway or Metro Rapid Transit System</li><li>Good Communication and Meeting Skill</li><li>Good Technical Coordination and Management Skills</li><li>Good Ability on Writing Technical Documents and Reports.</li></ul>Desirable <ul><li>Knowledge of Core E&amp;M Installation Works on Railway Wayside, Depot and Equipment Rooms</li><li>Knowledge of Cable Routings</li><li>Availability to make frequent site survey to assess installation design</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering</li><li>5-10 years Experience in installation design</li><li>Bilanguage and Fluently in Both English and Filipino</li><li>Thrives by working in a fluid environment.  Tolerance of ambiguity.</li><li>Motivated by work that provides opportunities for development, and the acquisition of new skills.</li><li>Thrives on meeting people, harmonious teamwork and helping others. </li><li>Thrives on investing energy into a job. </li><li>Ability to solve interface problems.</li><li>Ability to work in a project team and in a collaborative environment.</li><li>Ability to interface to diversity and international mind-set.</li></ul>Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
