Division               Urban Development Location              Randburg REPORTS TOTechnical Principal, Digital Delivery Lead or any other person appointed to supervise him/her from time to time.PRIMARY POSITION PURPOSE Provide and undertake complex design modelling and production tasks, prepare tender/construction documents, and provide technical support services in meeting the requirements of the functional group and its clients.Note: This is position is strictly applicable to the discipline of structural engineering. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li>Produce efficient, high-quality Models, drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD software</li><li>Assist in developing and maintaining a library of standard details and Revit families.</li><li>Assist Senior Modellers and Engineers with research and innovation</li><li>Assist with improving efficiency by using plugins and workflows to save time on repetitive tasks in modelling and annotation.</li><li>Use office systems relevant to tasks</li><li>Ensure appropriate technical and model/drawing standards and quality procedures are maintained on all projects</li><li>Ensure projects are documented within guidelines set by supervisor</li><li>Collaborate with the team to ensure project deadlines and documentation standards are met.</li><li>Take ownership and responsibility for own work</li><li>Ensure tasks are completed to program</li><li>Consult directly with Engineers</li><li>Compiling discipline specific detailing</li><li>Training of more junior staff</li><li>Communicate with clients, suppliers and other offices</li><li>Prepare and produce Issue Slips</li><li>Assist with quantity measurements</li></ul>KEY CHALLENGES<ul><li>Capability and desire to learn</li><li>Working with project guidelines and standards</li><li>Complete quality models drawings and documents within a required timeframe</li><li>Working on international projects with client-specific delivery requirements</li></ul>KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS <ul><li>Accuracy of modelling and quality of drawings</li><li>Meeting set deadlines</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li></ul>RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  <ul><li>National Diploma (Civil Engineering or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory</li><li>5 years min modelling and production experience.
