This will include, but is not limited to, end-to-end purchase order management, Supplier communication, and supporting other functions touched by the Purchasing function, e.g Finance. You will have knowledge of a variety of practices and procedures within a purchasing/supply chain environment. Critical to the role are excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal departments.</span></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Using Invinity systems and Excel, prepare purchase orders and place orders for the purchase of goods and services and support expediting purchase orders as required.</li><li>Provide support on all tactical day-to-day activities that arise.</li><li>Maintain organized files for all documents, across all systems, related to POs supplier/product items, including part registers and other repositories based on existing processes and procedures.</li><li>Evaluate quotes from suppliers and compare quotes with the specifications, availability of items, and the required cost</li><li>Maintain organized files for all documents, across all systems, related to POs supplier/product item</li><li>Manage company credit card system and update PO data daily. This includes chasing VAT invoices from suppliers keeping accounts payable informed</li><li>Ensure accuracy and data integrity across the job role</li><li>Ability to adapt to perform other duties and responsibilities as required</li><li>Manage UK and international shipments online ensuring adherence to policies and procedures</li></ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Good Level of proficiency in the use of systems, Microsoft Office products, (Notably, Excel formulas, Word and PowerPoint)</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail</li><li>Experience with procurement software or ERP systems is desirable.</li><li>Purchasing experience within a production/manufacturing or regulated environment advantageous</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload possessing the ability to work under pressure on your initiative</li></ul><br>
