The Production Planner role is to control the demand and capacity throughput for the company while ensuring that the customer’s requirements are meet through superior customer service; you will<ul><li>Work with key stakeholders to deliver best in class supply chain experience for customers</li><li>Proactively work with the sales team to collaboratively deliver the sales plan and ensure supply chain risks are managed</li><li>Own the short-term forecast to drive accuracy and product availability for customers</li><li>Own effective and efficient production schedule and master plan, from product mix and ebitda perspective</li><li>Work with finance and production to ensure production order compliance</li><li>Support the  Supply Chain Manager as 2ic</li></ul>Your key responsibilities will be to:<ul><li>Receive and enter all customer orders in SAP</li><li>Convert customer orders into production orders</li><li>Create monthly production schedule</li><li>Upload customer forecasts and provides sales budget based on forecast</li><li>Thorough analysis of forecast versus order received</li><li>Raise Master data &amp; Raise Price requests in SAP</li><li>Raise credit note in SAP</li><li>Responsible for co-ordination of NPD orders</li><li>Ordering Labels and managing label changes as per customer request</li><li>Responsible for producing 3 monthly plan.</li><li>Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay</li><li>Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget</li><li>Responsible for raising internal change controls and planned deviation</li><li>Address issues as they arise aiming for minimum disruption</li><li>Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)</li><li>Prepare and submit status and performance reports</li><li>Monthly DIFOT report for all customers</li><li>Monthly capacity report for all machines</li></ul>Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:<ul><li>Degree qualification or equivalent work experience</li><li>Minimum 4 years’ experience gained within a planning/supply chain role</li><li>Proven experience as Production Planner within a manufacturing background</li><li>Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles</li><li>Experience in SAP ERP system (essential)</li><li>Excel Specialist</li><li>Production and Materials planning experience is important also (BOM’s, workflow planning etc)</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication abilities</li></ul>
