The Contracts Officer will be part of our Legal team within our global technology company. The successful candidate will provide a contractual and legally compliant service to all areas of our business. This role will also support the Legal Manager as required to provide a wider service to the Company.Main Duties<ul><li>Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts</li><li>Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters</li><li>Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation</li><li>Provide both internal and external contract-related issue resolution</li><li>Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate</li><li>Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders</li><li>Provide management information for monthly reports</li><li>Monitoring changes or developments within the industry and evaluating customer needs</li></ul>#QioptiqPersonal Specification:<ul><li>At least 4 years of experience as a commercial contracts adviser/manager</li><li>Degree in law, business, economics or relevant subject / similar level of education</li><li>Proven commercial contracts experience </li><li>Knowledge of Contract Terms &amp; Conditions (including Customer/Supplier LTSA, Framework, Licences, Loan Agreements, NDA’s, Representative and Distributor agreements), in accordance with company policies</li><li>Knowledge of Contract Risk</li><li>Excellent IT skills including MS Office</li><li>Experience in the aviation or defence sector (desirable)</li><li>Knowledge of DEFCONS and FARS/DFARS (desirable)</li><li>Experience working with UK government agencies (desirable)</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
